Harvest is an early Victorian town house situated on the promenade in Portobello, a charming and distinctive district of Edinburgh. Several of our guest rooms have fine views of the Firth of Forth. All our rooms have colour TVs and tea/coffee making facilities.

Local amenities are excellent and include an amusement park, various restaurants and take-aways, sundry shops and traditional pubs.

We have private parking to accommodate 4 cars while there is also free on street parking.

There is a regular and efficient bus service to the city centre - Portobello is a mere 15 minute bus ride from Edinburgh city centre (Rail ana Bus Stations)- which runs every 10 minutes from early morning through until about 23.30. Buses to and from the city centre are the Nos 26, 15, 15A (Lothian buses) and 129 (First buses). There is in addition a night bus service available.

The A1 and the city bypass are situated nearby. When you approach Edinburgh by car you should follow the city bypass and then go on to the A1 and follow the road signs to Portbello (turn into Bellfield Street from Portobello High Street; Straiton place is at the foot of Bellfield Street and close to Portobello Swimming Pool).
